STITCH
Narrow
(A) and rolled edge
(B) is ideal for use on thin materials
such as georgette
crepe,
crepe
de chine, silk etc.
Picot stitch
(C) can be used when
sewing
on fine
"scarflike"
material.
In view of the nature
of
these
hems, they are unsuitable
for use on "hard or heavy"
materials.
1, Raise the presser
foot.
2. Open the front cover and working
table.
3.
Remove
the stitch finger
(1) from the needle
plate with the screw
driver
(2) (Fig. 1). Store it in
the front cover or accessory
bag.
4.
Set the machine
according
to the setting
chart on page
17.
NOTE:
1. Use the following
recommended
thread.
2. After
finishing,
reinstall
the stitch
finger
firmly
between
the spring
and
needle
plate
as
illustrated
(Fig. 2).
