Detach control line.
IMPORTANT! Hold adapter with a wrench when
detaching or attaching line. Reinstall adapter with
Loctite No. 270, if it is or becomes loose.
Remove lockplates.
Unscrew bolts.
Remove exhaust gas turbocharger downward.
INSTALLATION: Tighten bolts to 40 ... 45 Nm
(29 .,. 32 ft. Ibs.).
INSTALLATION: Give threads of bolts a light
coat of copper paste, HWB No. 8122 9400 794.
IMPORTANT! A gas·filled metal O'ring is used for
seal-ing and only has to be replaced when damaged.
Check seal for damage, replacing if necessary.
