Test 1. Connections: diagnosis plug, trigger clip, TDC indicator, vacuum hose between
sequence: "advance" can on distributor and throttle butterfly stub pipe
2. Input vacuum " ADV" start and end values. To cancel input error:

3. Detach "retard" vacuum hose from distributor and start engine
4. Slowly increase speed until preset vacuum is reached and speed display appears, then reo
turn to idle speed and press

button.
5. Detach "advance" vacuum hose and slowly i ncrease speed until ignition·control values
appear. For retard, repeat the procedure, i.e.

If nominal values are not reached: check vacuum cans for leaks
