Note: when the pump starts, slight pres·
sure against the foot is noted at the bra·
ke pedal.
Test 1. Switch 011 the ignition. Connections needed: T·plug at ABS wiring harness and at ASS control unit
sequence: 2. Front axle on brake dynamometer (BPS) and flashing· on tester for FRONT L

Switch on ignition; note voltage between leads 1 and 10 (if necessary, run engine at idle speed).
Switch on brake dynamometer for both wheels
4. Apply brakes until BPS reading is 2000 N (left and right), and maintain this pedal force steadily
5. Press

. Alter app . 5 s valve cuts in briefly ; alter app. 4 s pump (RFP) cuts in briefly. Alter this ,
COMPLETED display appears and the reading at the brake dynamometer drops again. Alter app. :3 s,
terminate measurement by pressing ~ .
6. Repeat test with ~ ; pass on to next wheel with I]] .
Test positions: FRONT L, FRONT R, REAR L,
