Color Bar – Used to verify correct cabling/color decoding
at the display. Color saturation,cross-talk, and level can
all be optimized at the display using this pattern.
4x4 Crosshatch – Used for linearity, convergence, skew,
focus, and geometric adjustments of display devices.
Crop – Once the clocking on the display has been optimized
using the Alt. Pix pattern, the Crop is used to align the active
area on the display using H / V shift adjustments.
1.78 Aspect – Used as an overlay to size and center 16:9 inputs
(e.g. 720p) with 4:3 output rates (e.g. 1024 x 768) for proper
"letter box" display. Note: appears identical to the Crop pattern
for 16:9 output rates (e.g. 720p)
