Turn engine up side down
and remove oil
pan.

Remove crankcase tightening bolts.
To separate the crankcases is made easier by
the use of the cylinder disassembling tool.

Make sure that all bolts are removed without
fail. Hammer lightly the lower crankcase side
with a plastic hammer to separate the upper

and lower crankcase
halves and then lift the
latter.
