8-7 CHASSIS
m Disconnect
brake hose and catch the brake fluid
in a suitable receptacle.
CAUTION:
Never re-use the brake fluid left over from the
last
servicing
or
stored for long periods.
WARNING:
Brake fluid, if it leaks, will interfere with safe
running and
discolor painted surfaces. Check
the brake hose and hose joint for
cracks or
leakage before riding.

Remove
caliper.
caliper mounting belts
and
take off
NOTE:
Slightly loosen the caliper axle bolts
to
facilitate later disassembly.
Remove caliper axle bolts, separate the
caliper
and caliper holder.
C A U f ION:
Do not
use
high pressure air to prevent
e
Place a rag over the pirton to prevent popping
up.
Force
out
the piston by
using air
gun.
