Communications Parameters

The E5@C's communications specifications are set in the communications setting level. These param-
eters are set on the E5@C's front panel. The following table shows the communications parameters and
their setting ranges.

* When the Protocol Setting parameter is set to Modbus, the communications data length must be 8 bits, and
the communications stop bits must be 1 bit by setting the communications parity to Even/Odd or it must be 2
bits by setting the parity to None. These two parameters are not displayed on the Controller's display.
