CDM-600L Satellite Modem
Front Panel Operation
The AUDIO choice permits the user to carry 2 x 32 kbps ADPCM audio as the primary
data. This interface type forces IBS or EDMAC as the available framing types.
The second option is the Framing type.

Select the parameters on the top line to be edited using the [←] [→] arrow keys.
Observe the Data/Symbol rates on the bottom line.
Press ENTER.

Three TX settings can be set from this menu. Select the parameter to edit using the [←]
[→] arrow keys.
The options for the TX carrier are shown in parentheses. To change the setting use the
[↑] [↓] arrow keys. Select either ON, OFF, or RTI, then press ENTER.

CARRIER = ON (ON,OFF,RTI)
RTI means RECEIVE/TRANSMIT INHIBIT. When selected, it will
prevent the TX carrier from being transmitted, until the demodulator is
locked.
