When indicators other than the ERR indicator blink, check and take necessary actions referring to the following table.

Fault Expected causes of the fault
(1) Safety OFF-delayed outputs short
circuited.
(2) Wiring to the OFF-delayed safety
contact outputs and 24 V, 0 V, or
another I/O terminal short circuited.
(3) Settings of two OFF-delay time preset
switches are not the same.
(4) The environment exceeds the
permissible ambient operating
temperature.
(5) Failure in internal circuit for S44 and
S54.
(6) OFF-delay time preset switch failed.
(1) Logical AND connection input and 24 V,
0 V, or another I/O terminal short
circuited.
(2) Maximum cable length exceeded.
(3) Maximum number of connected Units
exceeded.
(4) The logical AND connection preset
switch is set to OFF.
(5) Failure in internal circuit for T41, T42,
T51 and T52.
(6) The logical AND connection preset
switch failed.
(1) Supply voltage outside the rated value.
(2) Voltage fluctuation caused by
insufficient supply voltage current
capacity.
Fault Expected causes of the fault
The input status between safety input 1
and safety input 2 is different due to a
contact failure or short circuit of a safety
input device or a wiring fault.
1. Troubleshooting
Check points and measures to take
(1) Check the wiring to S44 and S54.
(2) Check the wiring to S44 and S54.
(3) Confirm the set values of the OFF-
delay time preset switches on the front
and back of the Unit.
(4) Check the ambient temperature and
spacing around the G9SX.
(5) Replace the G9SX.
(6) Replace the G9SX.
(1) Check the wiring to T41 and T51.
(2) Make sure that the wiring length for the
T41, T42, T51 and T52 terminals is less
than 100 m.
(3) Check the logical AND connection for
the G9SX.
(4) When using a logical AND connection,
set the logical AND connection preset
switch to AND.
(5) Replace the G9SX.
(6) Replace the G9SX.
(1) Connect to a supply voltage of 24 VDC
-15% to +10%.
(2) Change to a power supply with a
greater current capacity.
Check points and measures to take
Check the wiring from safety input devices
to the G9SX. Or check the input sequence
of safety input devices.
After removing the fault, turn both safety
input 1 and 2 to the OFF state.
