To adjust the Proximity Threshold Control, follow these
steps:
1� Activate the Proximity Threshold Control in the dis‑
play settings�
Note: Refer to the Customizing Display Elements
section for instructions on how to activate the
Proximity Threshold Control.
2� Check the box to the Proximity Threshold Control
setting�
3� Press the Menu Key
4� Press and hold the Up Arrow Key
ond to set the threshold higher or the Down Arrow
Key
to set the threshold lower�
5� Press and hold the Down Arrow Key
lowest Proximity Threshold range and the Signal
Strength appears in the center of the screen�
Note: The depth measurement appears on a black back-
ground when the SR-24 is measuring a negative depth
(signal from above the SR-24).
Proximity Threshold Control
When the measured depth is greater than the Proximity
Threshold Control limit set in the menu, the sound is
muted� By default, the Proximity Threshold Control is dis‑
abled� When the Proximity Threshold Control is disabled,
the sound automatically mutes when measured depth is
greater than 30 m [99 ft]�

The SR‑24 contains two reset options:
• Complete factory reset of the device
• Delete custom frequencies only
To do a factory reset, follow these steps:
1� Press the Menu Key
2� Navigate to the Information icon
Select Key
3� Press the Select Key
menu�
4� Press the Up and Down Arrow Keys

5� Press the Select Key
