    Proline Promass 80S, 83S Installation Mounting location Entrained air or gas bubbles in the measuring tube can result in an increase in measuring errors. Therefore, avoid the following mounting locations in the pipe installation: • Highest point of a pipeline. Risk of air accumulating.

    Proline Promass 80S, 83S Orientation Make sure that the direction of the arrow on the nameplate of the sensor matches the direction of flow (direction of fluid flow through the pipe. Vertical (Fig. V) Recommended orientation with upward direction of flow. When fluid is not flowing, entrained solids will sink down and gases will rise away from the measuring tube.
