15 Install the included (4) AA batteries into the receiver.
16 Install the included (3) AAA batteries into the transmitter.
17 See operating instructions, included with the remote kit, for details on how to synchronize the
transmitter to the control module.
18 Re-install the pilot wire grommet onto the heat shield.
19 Re-install the heat shield over the top of the Electronic Controls Assembly.
20 Re-install Electronic Controls Electronic Controls Assembly and the Glass Electronic Controls
Assembly.
21 Reconnect the power cord that was disconnected in step 3.
22 Verify no wires are touching firebox bottom, adjust if necessary.
23 Plug power cord into a grounded outlet and install 4AA batteries into the receiver.
24 Sync the remote with the receiver (see syncing instructions in operation instructions that comes with
the kit).
