4 Setup

4.1 Included items

Robin™
A Ceiling hoist
including two lifting straps with hooks and an emergency strap.
Robin Mover also includes the trolley.

4.2 Before Use

CAUTION!
– The ceiling hoist is not intended to be used together
with MEDICAL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.

Robin Mover™
Before first use, all features of the hoist system must be inspected by
specialized service technicians.
Perform a visual inspection of the ceiling hoist. If the packaging is
damaged upon arrival, the ceiling hoist parts must be thoroughly
examined for visible damage or defects. If there is any suspicion of
damage, the ceiling hoist must not be used before specialized service
technicians have approved it.
The emergency stop is activated during shipment. Reset the
emergency stop before first use. See 5.8 Resetting the emergency
stop or lowering feature, page 17.
It is possible that the hoist´s battery is discharged on account of
self-discharge. Charge the hoist´s battery before first use. See 5.4
Charging the Battery, page 14.

4.3 Installing the ceiling hoist

The ceiling hoist has to be mounted to a rail system for use. The rail
system has to be installed and approved according to EN 10535 by a
specialized dealer or specialized service technician.
Installing Robin™
The Robin™ requires a trolley, holding the ceiling hoist in the rail
system. The trolley has to be pre-installed by a specialized dealer or
service technician.
To mount the ceiling hoist to the trolley, do the following:
