Invacare ® Robin™
Pull and release the red emergency strap A underside of the

hoist B to activate the emergency stop.
The ceiling hoist stops any lifting or lowering movement
immediately.
IMPORTANT!
When the red emergency strap has been pulled, the
hoist functions, including the end stop, are deactivated.
The blue indicator light turns off.
– To activate the hoist functions again, reset the
emergency stop. See 5.8 Resetting the emergency
stop or lowering feature, page 17.

5.7 Emergency lowering

The emergency lowering function is used to lower the patient only if
the hoist has stopped working.

Pull and hold the red emergency strap A underside of the hoist

B to lower the patient.
Keep on pulling, until the patient is lowered to a safe position.

Release the red emergency strap to stop lowering the patient.
