The ballast is the power supply for the purification system; it has two
LED indicator lights the green indicating incoming power flow and the red
indicating the system is properly working. CLEARRAY is standard for all
models.
After a year the bulb must be replaced. If the UV timer has been
programmed correctly a message will appear on the LCD display when
the time allotted has expired. In order to clear the message, a new UV
bulb needs to be installed and the timer must be reset (Section 10.5,
page 34).
WARNINGS:

• Do not operate the UV-C emitter when it is removed from the
appliance enclosure.
• This appliance contains a UV-C emitter.
• Unintended use of the appliance or damage to the housing may
result in the escape of dangerous UV-C radiation. UV-C radiation
may, even in little doses, cause harm to the eyes and skin.
• Appliances that are obviously damaged must not be operated.
• Read the maintenance instructions before opening the appliance.

Maintenance
Important: It is MANDATORY that the UV bulb is replaced and the
quartz tube be cleaned every 12 months to maintain optimum
performance.
