12.0 Hot Tub Maintenance

Proper and regular maintenance of your hot tub will help it retain its
beauty and performance. Your authorized Sundance Dealer can supply
you with all the information, supplies, and accessory products you will
need to accomplish this.

12.1 Replacing The Filter Cartridge

A programmable "Change Filter" reminder flashes on
the control panel display after a specified number days
to remind you to inspect and/or replace the MicroClean II
filter cartridge. This reminder must be reset at each filter
inspection/replacement interval. Refer to section 11.9 (page 39) for
additional information and programming details.
Your Sundance hot tub is equipped a high-efficiency MicroClean II filter
cartridge under the filter lid (Figures G-J, Page 18-21). Debris is filtered
by the circulation pump drawing water through this cartridge 24-hours
a day, 7 days a week (unless programmed otherwise.) To ensure opti-
mum performance, replace this cartridge every 6 months or as needed.
This filter cannot be cleaned and reused and MuST be thrown out after
use.
ALWAYS TURN POWER TO THE HOT TUB OFF BEFORE
REPLACING THE MICROCLEAN II FILTER CARTRIDGE! To
accomplish this, refer to the following filter replacement procedure:
