Range is useful because it allows you to describe how much flexibility you want when receiving
Pace/Speed Alerts.
For example (pictured below): With the Pace set to 10:00 minutes per mile and the Range set to
30 seconds the watch will give the following alerts:
Too Slow: When you are moving at a pace of 10:30.
Too Fast: When you are moving at a pace of 9:30.
Pace/Speed Alerts are threshold alerts. They will alert you when you pass the threshold, but will
not continue to alert you if you never return to the described range.
Once all settings are complete, don't forget to turn the feature On. On-screen icons will appear
to indicate you have activated Pace Alert.
By default, Pace/Speed Alerts are turned Off.
Distance: On, non-repeating by distance, Out and Back, Off.
Distance Alerts allow you to set a single, non-repeating alert for a specified distance.
