SETUP

SETUP MODE

The SETUP page allows you to set certain functions that affect the DPS24 as a whole. Pressing SETUP shows this
page:
Here, you can set the following functions using Q1-Q6:
SAMPLE RATE
NOTE : Selecting a sample rate other than that of the currently loaded project will cause previously re-
corded material to playback at the wrong speed. It is recommended, therefore, that you do not change the
'system' sample rate after loading a project or after recording into a new project.
DIGITAL SYNC
NOTE : If the selected digital sync source is not available, you will receive a prompt informing you. Also,
to prevent unwanted noise, all audio is automatically muted and the top of the LCD will show:
Certain operations will also be unavailable to you on the DPS24.
To remedy this situation, you should either select INTERNAL or you should attend to the digital sync source's
problem.

Here, you can set the sample rate for the DPS24. The options are 32kHz, 44.1kHz,
48kHz and 96kHz.
Selects the wordclock source. The options are:
INTERNAL
The DPS24 will sync to its own internal clock
WCLK
The DPS24 will sync to a sync source connected to the Wordclock
BNC connector on the rear of the DPS24.
SPDIF
The DPS24 will sync to a digital audio source connected to the co-
axial digital input on the rear of the DPS24.
ADAT 1-8
The DPS24 will sync to a digital audio source connected to the
optical digital input on the rear of the DPS24.
External wordclock should match the sampling rate set for the current project.
