If installing a new fuel injection pump:

• Reinstall the timing grid sticker, provided with
the new fuel injection pump, onto the back of
the gear case / front plate (Figure 7-24). Align
the "standard mark" (Figure 7-24, (1)) with the
reference mark (Figure 7-24, (2)) made on the
gear case during disassembly.
