To add a new range enter the information and click Add, to delete an entry enter the information and click Delete.

IPv6 Max Multicast Group Settings

This window allows users to configure the ports or VLANs on the Switch included in IPv6 multicast groups, and set a
maximum for the number of multicast groups that can be learned.
To view this window, click L2 Features > Multicast Filtering > IPv6 Multicast Filtering > IPv6 Max Multicast Group
Settings, as shown below:
To add a new IPv6 Max Multicast Group enter the information and click Apply. To search for an entry, enter the
information and click Find.

Using the uppermost drop-down Ports/VID List menu, choose to create the multicast group
using port number or VID of a VLAN that has been previously created for IPv6 multicasts.
Enter either a single value of Port or VID, or enter a group of consecutively numbered ports or
VIDS in the format "n-n+1" for a group of sequentially numbered ports or VIDs. Enter or select
the parameters in the menus that follow and click Apply to create the group.
Set a value for the maximum number of IPv6 multicast groups allowed to be learned.
Note: This is only configurable if the option Infinite is NOT ticked. By default, there is no limit.
Tick this check box to allow an infinite number of IPv6 multicast groups to be learned. This
option is selected by default.
Choose the action applied to additional multicast groups after the set maximum number has
been learned. The options are to Drop additional multicast groups so they are not learned; or
choose to Replace an existing entry with the new one.
Using the lowermost drop-down Ports/VID List menu, choose to find the multicast group and
view its configuration settings using port number or VID of a group member. Enter either a
single value of Port or VID, or enter a group of consecutively numbered ports or VIDS in the
format "n-n+1" for a group of sequentially numbered ports or VIDs. Enter or select the
parameters in the menus that follow and click Apply to create the group.
