Setting the Printing Priority

You can set the machine's printing priority. A job that belongs to a function with a higher set
priority is printed after the job currently being processed is complete.
NOTE
Priority printing does not take place until the current job is complete. However, if the current job is
paused, the printing of a job that belongs to a function with a higher set priority may start, depending on
the settings.

Select the printing priority for the various functions
If you select [1] for a function, that function is given the highest printing priority.
[Copy] is displayed only if the optional Color Image Reader-E1 or Color Image Reader-F1 is
attached.
For the CLC5151/CLC4040, [Printer] appears only if the optional Color Network Printer Unit is
installed. For the iR C4580i/iR C4080i, this key is always displayed.
For the CLC5151/CLC4040:
[Receive] appears only if the optional Color Image Reader-E1 or Color Image Reader-F1 is
attached, and the Color Universal Send Kit is activated.
[Fax] appears only if the optional Color Image Reader-E1 or Color Image Reader-F1 is
attached, and the Super G3 FAX Board is installed.
[Receive/Fax] appears only if optional Color Image Reader-E1 or Color Image Reader-F1 is
attached, the Color Universal Send Kit is activated, and the optional Super G3 FAX Board is
installed.
For the iR C4580i/iR C4080i:
[Receive/Fax] appears only if the optional Color Image Reader-E1 or Color Image Reader-F1 is
attached, and the Super G3 FAX Board is installed.
[Receive] appears if the optional Color Image Reader-E1 or Color Image Reader-F1 is
attached, and the Super G3 FAX Board is not installed.
[Other] is used for designating a tray for printing reports.
PDL prints from MEAP applications are included in <Printer>. However, local print jobs from
MEAP applications are included in <Mail Box>.
NOTE
If the same printing priority has been specified for multiple functions, printing starts with the first
processed print job.
