Power supply blank

Remove the component as indicated.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.

Hot-plug power supply

WARNING:
attempt to repair it. Replace it only with the specified spare part.
CAUTION:
unless both bays are populated with power supplies.
CAUTION:
unless all bays are populated with either a component or a blank.
To remove the component:
Determine how many hot-plug power supplies are installed:
1.
If only one hot-plug power supply is installed, power down and remove the power cord from the

server
If more than one hot-plug power supply is installed, continue with the next step.

Unfasten the cable management solution to access the power supply bays.
2.
Disconnect the power cord from the power source.
3.
Disconnect the power cord from the power supply.
4.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the power supply or
Do not attempt to remove and replace a power supply as a hot-plug procedure
To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server
