Monitoring the Run Hours

Description
Note
A DST1-series Safety I/O Terminal totals the number of hours the internal cir-
cuit power is supplied and internally saves it in non-volatile memory. If the
cumulative time reaches the set threshold value, the Unit Maintenance Flag
will turn ON in the General Status.

The user can monitor this information using the Network Configurator and
explicit messages.
• The run hours monitoring function totals the time when the power supply
to the DST1-series Safety I/O Terminal (network power) is ON. This does
not include the time when the power is OFF.
• The DST1-series Safety I/O Terminals measure time internally in 0.1-hour
increments. When the Threshold Run Hours parameter is set on the Net-
work Configurator and when the run hours are monitored, however, the
time will be in 1-hour increments.
