Description
Scans the original positioned in the ADF.
Used to align the document.
Presses down on the document positioned on the original glass.
Scans the image of the loaded document.
Use to specify the various settings and perform operations such as starting
copying. Refer to page 2-20 for details.
Indicates machine status by combining the color (blue or orange) and the state
(steady on or flashing).
Flashing in blue: Printing normally
Flashing in orange: Warning
Steady on in orange: Stopped operating
Used for connecting the USB cable for external memory (USB memory).
Used as guides with which to align the original positioned.
Place the original face up.
Feeds out scanned originals.
Set in a standing position to prevent large-sized originals falling off the original
output tray.
Turns on/off the copying and scanning functions. Turning it off will terminate
all the functions other than printing, and receiving and outputting facsimile da-
ta, and then enter the sleep mode.
Opens the automatic duplex unit door in case of paper misfeeds within the au-
tomatic duplex unit.
Opened when clearing paper misfeeds within the automatic duplex unit.
Pulled out to open the right-side door of the main unit.
Slided to the right to open the vertical conveyance door when clearing paper
misfeeds.
Held to slide to the front of the bypass tray entrance door when clearing paper
misfeeds.
Opened and used to print on the type of paper that is not or cannot be set in
the other trays, including thick paper, overhead projector transparencies, en-
velopes or label sheets.
Opened when large-sized paper is to be loaded into the bypass tray.
Used as guides with which to align the paper.
