S Check if the spark plug cap has the specified
resistance.
Spark plug cap resistance:
10 kΩ at 20_C

6. Ignition coil resistance
S Disconnect the ignition coil connector from
the wire harness.
S Connect the pocket tester (Ω
ignition coil.
S Check if the primary coil has the specified re-
sistance.
Primary coil resistance:
3.8 X 4.6 Ω at 20_C
S Connect the pocket tester (Ω
ignition coil.
S Check if the secondary coil has the specified
resistance.
Secondary coil resistance:
10.1 X 15.1 kΩ at 20_C
