2-3. Alarm
There are 4 sensor inputs on the rear of the DVR, these can be used to initiate the Alarm
record mode. The Alarm recording Quality, FPS and Audio are set up in the same way as
Normal Recording.
A single sensor input can be used to drive up to 4 PTZ cameras to Preset positions. Click on
the "Set" Icon.
(Note: This function is only available when RS485 telemetry formats are being used.)
[ Alarm Timer ]
This can be used to set how the Alarm is acted, the options are:
Time out : The alarm state finishes after "X" seconds set in Time out box, and the alarm
contact state changes back to its normal state.
Acknowledged : The Alarm state only finishes once the operator acknowledges the alarm
by pressing the SEL button on the remocon or clicking the left button on the mouse.
Transparent : The alarm state finishes when the alarm contact returns to its normal state.
[ Keyswitch ]
It allows one of the sensor inputs to be used to set and unset the alarm sensors.
The key switch can be set to any of sensor inputs, once set an activation on this input will
toggle between the alarms being active or inactive.
** The alarm is not activated by the sensors except the sensor selected as the key switch.
