Operating the Mobile Digital TV
Receiver (DVB-T)
To operate the Mobile Digital TV Receiver (DVB-T) (Optional), set
"Setting the AUX Mode" (page 23) to "DVB-T".
Changing to the Mobile Digital TV Receiver
(DVB-T) Mode

Press and hold
(CAR) button for at least 2
seconds to recall the Home screen.

Touch [DVB-T].
The display shows the DVB-T mode screen.

About the DVB-T operation screen

When you touch the screen in the DVB-T mode, the operation screen is
displayed. For details on how to operate, refer to the Owner's Manual of
the connected Digital TV Receiver (DVB-T).

Switches between the Channel mode and the favorite
channel mode.

Call up the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG).

Call up the menu operation mode.
[A/V]
Switches the source.
[Scan]
Touch the switch to start the scan procedure.
[Wide]
Not available for DVB-T.

Camera Operation
(Optional)
When an optional camera is connected, the view video of camera can be
output to the monitor.
Rear camera, Top View camera or Side camera can be connected to this
unit.
Depending on your camera, please choose the connection method
(Direct or AUX) and camera type (Rear, Top View or Side) first. For
details, refer to "Camera Setup" (page 32).
For more information about Alpine Camera, please consult your Alpine
dealer.
You can adjust the quality of the camera image.
Setting items: Brightness/Contrast
Refer to "Visual Setting" (page 22).

Rear Camera Operation

Set "Rear" for "Direct Camera Setting" (page 32) or "AUX Camera
Setting" (page 34).
Displaying the rear view video while the
car is in reverse

Shift the gear lever to the reverse (R) position.
The rear view image is displayed while the car remains in
reverse.

If you shift the gear lever to a position other than
reverse (R), the monitor returns to the previous
screen.
• Never depend solely on the camera when backing up. Always turn
and look and only use the camera for additional assistance.
• This function is effective when the reverse wire is properly connected.
• You can also display the view video of camera by pressing CAMERA
button. If both Direct Camera (e.g. Rear camera) and AUX camera
(e.g. Side camera) are connected, a camera selecting screen will
display. You need to choose the camera first.
