Common Operations

How to Input Characters and Numbers
(Keypad)
Character input is required for model name setting, etc.
The displayed screens and procedures may vary slightly depending on
the function used, but the basic input method is the same.
Input screen area.
Character keypad
(Delete)
Returns to the previous character and erases it.
Touching here for more than 2 seconds will erase all
input characters.
Space
Input number is confirmed.

Switching Sources

Press the
button or touch a source icon on the Home screen to
switch to the desired available source.
Switching Sources Using the

available source.

Rear Entertainment Function

The rear entertainment function independently routes different sources
to the front and the rear inside a car. For example, while listening to the
radio or other audio source in the front, DVD can be enjoyed in the rear
with the optional rear monitor and headphones.

Press and hold
(CAR) button for at least 2
seconds to recall the Home screen.

Swipe the screen from right to left.
The [RSE] button displays.

Touch [RSE]*.
Rear source Select display appears.
* Displayed only when Rear Seat Entertainment is On (page 21).
• Touching [
] on the Rear selection screen will change to the
main source screen.

Touch the desired visual source (such as auxiliary
input, built-in DVD) to select.
• Touch [Off] will not choose any source for rear monitor.
• Depending on the status, some Rear source items may not be
available in some case. (For example, when there is no DVD disc
inserted on this unit, you cannot set "Disc" as Rear source.)
• Touch [AUTO] to set the rear source the same as the main unit
playing visual source.
• If Auto is selected, the DVD/USB video playback for rear monitor
will be paused during a conversation of the connected Bluetooth
compatible mobile phone.
• If the front source is AUX, DVD or Camera, HDMI is not available
for rear source.
