Answering a Call

Incoming calls are announced by the received call ring tone and a
displayed message (PHONE No., etc.).

An incoming call triggers the ringtone and an
incoming call display.

] or press
The call starts.
• During a call, the audio for the current mode on the unit is muted.
After calling, playback will resume.
• When the caller's number is transmitted to the system, if the caller's
name is stored in the phone book, the name is displayed. If the name
is not stored, the number is displayed. When neither the name or the
number is unavailable, "Unknown" is displayed.

Hanging up the Telephone

Touch [
].
The call finishes.

Calling

Use the Phone menu screen to make a phone call.

Dialing a Number In Call History

You can use 3 types of history to make a phone call. Call History saves
up to 60 phone numbers, (each type can save 20 phone numbers). If the
limit is exceeded, the oldest phone number is deleted.

(PHONE) button.
The phone menu screen is displayed.

Touch [
].
The Call History screen is displayed.

Touch [Dialled], [Received] or [Missed].
The selected Call History list is displayed.
Touch [
] or [
] to change the page.

Touch the name from the call history.
• Touching [Delete] deletes the select history.
• Touching [Clear] deletes all histories of the current type.

Touch [Call].
The phone call is started.

Dialing a Number In the Phone Book

If your mobile phone supports Bluetooth phone book download
protocol, the phone book will be transmitted to this unit when mobile
phone connect to this unit.
You can use the phone book of the mobile phone to make a phone call.

(PHONE) button.
The phone menu screen is displayed.

Touch [
].

Touch the person name or the telephone number
from the Phone Book list.

Touch [Call].
The phone call is started.
• This unit can download up to 3000 numbers from the photo book of
mobile phone (each person 3 numbers at most). If you update the
photo book of your Mobile phone, it will not automatically sync to
this unit until the next time Bluetooth connection is established.
• If a person have several numbers stored in phone book, touch [>>]
to select desired number.
Searching a Number from Phone Book
This unit support Phone Book Search function. You can find the desired
person/number in the phone book by numeric or alphabetical index.

Touch [Search] on Phone menu screen.
The Phone Book Search screen is displayed.

Input a name or phone number directly to make the
search.
• Only 0-9 numbers and A-Z letters are supported.
• Depending on your mobile phone, the phone book displays on this
unit may be different from the display on mobile phone. In this case,
please consult your mobile phone dealer for more information.

Entering a Phone Number to Make a Call

Enter the phone number you wish to call.
