Power Attendant Lite Utility

This section provides an overview of the Power Attendant Lite Utility (PAL).
Power Attendant Lite Utility Overview
The Power Attendant Lite Utility is a software utility that constantly monitors the status of the UPS that
is connected to the Box PC.
When the Power Attendant Lite Utility discovers a power interruption it will send a signal to the Box PC
to shut down.

Features
The Power Attendant Lite Utility provides the following features:
• Signal the Box PC to shut down when a power interruption is detected.
• Configure the shutdown conditions when a power interruption is detected.
• Display the state of the connected UPS using the icon in the system tray area.

Compatibility
The Power Attendant Lite Utility can be used on a Box PC with one of the following operating systems:
• Windows 10
• Windows 7
Installation
The Power Attendant Lite Utility is not pre-installed on a Box PC.
The Power Attendant Lite Utility installer is included in the installers directory (D:/OMRON-NY/Instal-
lers). Download the installer from the OMRON download website if required.
To install the Power Attendant Lite Utility:
