Check the Backup and Repair Media
Use the following procedure to check the backup or repair media.
Check the Rescue Disk Medium
Use the following procedure to check the rescue disk for the system backup.

Follow the first few steps of the Restore a System Back with the Rescue Disk procedure to dis-
play the boot device screen.
Refer to Restore a System Backup with the Rescue Disk on page 7 - 31 for details.

Continue with the procedure until the restore selection window opens.

Select Return.

Select Exit.
The rescue disk for the system backup is approved.
Check the Custom Backup Medium (Windows)
Use the following procedure to check the custom backup medium.

Insert the backup in the Industrial Box PC that created the backup.

Follow the first few steps of the restore procedure to display the 'Restore files' screen.
Refer to Restore a Custom Backup with Windows on page 7 - 33 for details.

Browse the backup medium and ensure at least one backup is displayed.

Select Cancel to cancel the restore procedure.
The backup medium for the custom backup is approved.
Check the System Repair Disk (Windows)
Use the following procedure to check the system repair disk to repair Windows.

Follow the first few steps of the repair procedure to display the recovery software screen to se-
lect your keyboard language.
Refer to Repair Windows with the System Repair Disk on page 7 - 36 for details.

Exit the recovery software.
