Startup
To manually start the Rescue Disk Utility:
1
Locate the Rescue Disk Utility using the Windows Start menu or the Windows search box.

Use the option Run as administrator to activate the Rescue Disk Utility.
Additional Information
The procedure to use Run as administrator is:
• For Windows 10 using the Start menu:
Rightclick the Rescue Disk Utility, select More and then Run as administrator.
• For Windows 10 using Search:
Rightclick the Rescue Disk Utility in the search results and select Run as administrator.
• For Windows 7 using the Start menu or Search:
Rightclick the Rescue Disk Utility and select Run as administrator.
The Rescue Disk Utility started.
Installation
The Rescue Disk Creator is preinstalled.
Use the following procedure to reinstall the Rescue Disk Creator:

Use Windows Explorer to examine the local disk C.

Open the Rescue Disk folder (This PC\Local Disk(C:)\Program Files (x86)\OMRON\Industrial
PC\Rescue Disk) and activate the installer file setup.exe.
A progress bar will visualize the extraction process and then a language selection window
opens.

Select your language and then select OK.
The installer window opens.

Follow the installer steps to complete the Rescue Disk Creator installation.
The Rescue Disk Creator is installed and available in the OMRON folder in the Windows Start Menu.
