Restore a Custom Backup with Windows
Use the following procedure to restore a custom backup of user files with Windows Backup and Re-
store.
Additional Information
• With Windows Backup and Restore it is not possible to restore the complete boot disk or the
operating system. Use the Windows Repair Disk to repair the Windows operating system.

• Refer to Create a Custom Backup with Windows Backup on page 7 - 8 for Custom Backup
details.
• Use the Windows System Repair Disk to repair the Windows operating system when Win-
dows can not be started.
Refer to Repair Windows with the System Repair Disk on page 7 - 36 for repair details.
Ensure:
• The Industrial Box PC is ON
• You are logged in
• A backup is created earlier and it is available
To restore a backup:

Select the Windows Start Button.

In the search field, input Backup.

Select Backup and Restore.
The Backup and Restore window opens.
