Configuration: Network - Email

The following email pro-
viders are recommend-
ed - Gmail (gmail.com),
and Outlook (outlook.
com). Select your pre-
ferred provider then on
your computer, go to the
relevant website to cre-
ate an account. When
finished, input those de-
tails here.
Email Server Authentication:
Click the checkbox to enable.
User name:
Input the email user name for the account you created.
Password:
Input the email password for the account you created. Click and
hold the eye icon to temporarily show your password.
SMTP Server: Gmail "smtp.gmail.com". Outlook "smtp.live.com".
SMTP Port: Gmail 587. Outlook 587.
Enable SSL/TLS: Click the checkbox to enable (this is required for both email
providers).
Sender:
Enter the sender's name (see example above).
Sender's Address:
Enter the email address for the account you created.
Select Receivers: You can send alerts to an additional two different email
addresses.
Click for contents
Receiver:
Enter the receiver's name.
Receiver's Address:
Enter the receiver's email address.
Enable Attached Picture:
When enabled, each time motion has been detect-
ed by a particular camera, your DVR will attach three small images of the
event when sending an email alert. Click the checkbox to enable.
Interval:
The length of time that must elapse after your DVR sends an email
before it will send another. Adjust accordingly.
Test:
Click to verify the information you have entered is correct. A message
will appear on-screen stating if the test has been successful. Click "OK" to
continue.
Please note:
It's very important that you create an email for your DVR,
otherwise you will not receive email alerts.
· Don't forget to click "Apply"
to save settings.
· Click the "Back" button to go
back to the Menu.
