Cooking Surfaces
• Surface areas on or adjacent to the unit
may be hot enough to cause burns.
• NEVER touch oven heating elements,
areas near elements, or interior surfaces
of oven.
• Heating elements may be hot even

let clothing or other flammable materials
contact heating elements, areas near

technician immediately.
Cleaning Safety
• Turn off all controls and wait for
appliance parts to cool before touching
or cleaning them. DO NOT touch the
surface elements or surrounding areas
until they have had sufficient time to

• Before self-cleaning the oven, remove
broiler pan, racks, and other utensils
and wipe up excessive spillovers to
prevent excessive smoke or flaming.
• This range features a cooling fan, which
operates automatically during a clean

the clean operation and contact an
authorized servicer.

surface of the range to become hot
during a self-clean cycle. Therefore,
touching the rangetop cooking surface
during a clean cycle should be avoided.

to publish a list of substances known to
the State of California to cause cancer or

these substances can be minimized by
properly venting the oven to the outdoors by
opening the windows and/or door in the room
where the appliance is located during the
