• ENERGY SAVING CLOSED DOOR OPERATION:
During closed door operation it is normal for the compressor, condenser fan, and the evap
fans to cycle at different rates.This is normal operation which maximizes energy efficiency.
• OPEN DOOR OPERATION AND ALARM:
During open door operation a sensor knows the door is open. When operating with door open
the display will show "OPEn" and start an internal count down timer. The unit will allow open
door operation for factory default of 90 minutes during which time the compressor, condenser fan
and evaporator fans will run continuously.
• CLOSING THE DOOR AFTER AN OPEN DOOR PERIOD:

• 90 MINUTE OPEN DOOR SESSION:
When the door is open the display shows "OPEn" and the unit beeps 3x every 10 seconds.
After the 90 minute (open door time), a 5 minute final warning count-down timer starts.
The display continues to beep 3x every 10 seconds during the timer.
When the 5 minute final warning countdown timer reaches "0:00", the display shows
"End" and the compressor, condenser fan and evaporator fans turn off.
The alarm starts beeping every 30 seconds with two second duration until the door has
been closed.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Perishable product left in the unit
past the 90 minute open door session may be at unsafe
temperatures.
XII. DOOR OPERATION

Unit is operating with door open and the door is closed in less than
30 minutes, unit will reset the open door alarm timer and have
normal operation.
between 30 and 90 minutes, the door alarm timer is reset and after
5 minutes and an automatic defrost cycle begins.
If the unit is operating with door open and the door is closed after "End"
is displayed, the open door session will be terminated. Cycle controller
power ("OFF", then "ON") and a defrost cycle begins after 5 minutes. If
the door is reopened before 30 minutes of being closed the unit will not
be allowed to run. The door must remain closed for a minimum of 30
minutes to reset and allow a new open door session.
