Position the original to be copied.
– For details on positioning the original, refer to

In the Basic screen, touch [Quality/Density].
The Quality/Density screen appears.

Touch the button for the quality setting most appropriate for the loaded original.
– For an original that contains only text, touch [Text].
– For an original that contains photos, touch [Photo].
– For an original that contains both text and photos, touch [Text Photo].
– For an original that contains maps, touch [Map].
– To darken a document that contains faint text, touch [Dot Matrix].
