Embroidery
The higher the upper thread tension, the tighter the upper thread which means that the bobbin thread is
pulled up to the top of the fabric. When the upper thread tension is low, the upper thread is less tightened
which means that the bobbin thread is pulled up less.
Alteration of the upper thread tension affect all embroidery motifs. Permanent alterations of the upper
thread tension can be made in the Setup Program (see page 53).
> Touch the icon «Upper thread tension».
> Move the slide using the touchscreen pen or the finger to increase or reduce the upper thread tension.
> Touch the yellow-framed icon on the right to reset the alterations to basic setting.
> When the upper thread tension has been altered in the Setup Program, touch the yellow-framed icon on
the left to reset the alterations to basic setting in the Setup Program.

6.4 Embroidering via the foot control (Optional accessory)

Embroidering via the foot control is recommended when only a short sequence has to be embroidered.
While embroidering, the foot control must be pressed down all the time.
> Press the foot control to start embroidering.
