Selecting Regions

You can carry out file operations on multiple regions simultaneously.
However, since the setup, initial status, video process memory, key memory
and frame memory operations are carried out independent of the regions, no
region selection is required for them.
To select regions
Use the following procedure.
1
With the list for which you want to make settings displayed, press [Select].
The region selection display appears.
2
Press the names of the regions you want to exclude from file operations,
turning them off.
3
Press [OK].

Selecting the Recording Medium

When recalling or saving files, it is necessary to select hard disk or memory
card as the medium to hold the files.
As an example, to select a memory card, use the following procedure.
1
In the File menu, press [HDD] in the center of the screen.
[HDD] is the default selection. If you are already using a memory card,
then [Memory Card] appears.
A popup window for selecting the medium appears.
2
Press [Memory Card].
This closes the popup window, and the display in the center of the screen
changes to [Memory Card].
