Selecting a mode

The mode dial is used to switch between recording and playback modes.
Rotate the mode dial slowly but surely.
Rotate the mode dial, and set the
desired mode pictograph to the position
shown in the illustration.
Disc recording mode (l 50)
Disc playback mode (l 76)
Card recording mode (l 52)
Card playback mode (l 79)
≥ Do not forcefully turn the dial.
Use this to record motion pictures on a disc.
Use this to play back motion pictures on a disc.
Use this to record still pictures on an SD card.
Use this to play back still pictures on an SD
card.
