SHOULDER HEIGHT MARKERS
AND THE NEXT SEAT
Next type of restraint that can be used in the car for your child.
When your child has outgrown the seat, you can then either use:
• Convertible Booster Seat (Note: you can move to a
convertible booster seat once the child's shoulders reach
the lower shoulder height marker in the convertible
booster seat), Convertible Booster seat used with
internal harness until approximately 4 years and then
as a booster seat. It is unlikely you can use the in-built
harness.
Or you can use a large restraint with in-built harness
suitable up to 8 years of age.
Or you can use a booster seat suitable for children up to
8-10 years of age with a lap-sash seatbelt or a Child
Harness suitable for use with the booster seat.
