Functional setting operation

Surface depth setting

Before you begin fishing, make sure the counter is set to zero at the waterʼs surface.
This is extremely important to ensure accurate fishing depth readings.
1.
After installing the reel on your rod, pass the main line through
the guide (from bottom to tip of the rod) and set a rig.
-Install a rod clamp if necessary.
2.
Connect the reel to the battery.
3.
Set the rod in the mode to take in the rig and place the rigʼs
top on the water surface.
4.
Press the
RESET BUTTON
water surface. (Surface is set as zero and the measured
length of the line wound out from this point is displayed.)

1.When new line is wound up, or when line has been pulled under heavy tension, line
stretch may cause a gap in the depth reading at the surface. Simply reset the surface
setting with the reset button.
Attention
When the main line is cut or broken off.....
- Should your line break, revise data as follows.
- Correct the line data for the length cut out. While the power is
on, wind up the line without taking in the cut end, and then
press the
RESET
BUTTON. (To prevent operational errors, you
can correct the data only when you press (hold down) the
button for more than 2 seconds.
If the display shows
0.0
 plete and data has been revised.
- Unless you reset the data on the reel, it will not be able to count
accurately.
