To adjust the DAC to obtain the desired Tx power level.
1. Check "Advanced options".
2. Select the required "Band"
3. Input the Tx ARFCN (See "Tx Power Calibration Channels" at the end of this section for the input channel). and press
Enter Key.
Note: If the PCS band is being calibrated, the "1900 Band" box must first be checked.
4. Select "Power level" (See "Default dac value table" at the end of this section for the dac value)
5. Click "Get values" and then click "Set values".
The default ramping value for the selected band and Power level will displayed in the 16th section of Power Ramp Editor.
6. Under the "RF Mode" heading, check the "TX" . The handset will transmit, and the power meter will displayed the default Tx
power output.
7. Input an appropriate value for "DAC16", and Check that the power mater registers a change in power level.
Note: Before setting a new DAC16 value, turn off the transmitter by clicking RF Mode "Off".
Calibration Channels
The following table shows calibration channels. It is important to perform the calibration at these specific
channels, as the software performs linear interpolation based upon these channels.
