You can choose how you want the system to handle traffic
problems along your route.
Automatic
Manual
Turn the traffic alert notifications on or off.
You can choose to turn on any of the following Traffic alert
categories.
Have the system display accident information.
Have the system display traffic jam information.
Have the system display closed roads.
Have the system display road work information.
Have the system display incident information.
Have the system display icons for areas where difficult driving
conditions may occur.
Have the system display icons for areas where snow and ice
on the road may occur.
Have the system display any smog information.

Have the system reroute you to avoid
traffic incidents that develop and
impact the current route. The system
does not provide a traffic alert notific-
ation
Have the system always provide a
traffic alert notification for traffic
incidents along the planned route.
You have a choice to accept or ignore
the notification before making the
route deviation.
