The system does not position the vehicle where I want in the space
A parked vehicle has a high attachment (salt sprayer, snowplow or moving truck bed).
The parking space length or position of parked objects changed after your vehicle passed.
The temperature around your vehicle changes quickly (driving from a heated garage
into the cold, or after leaving a car wash).

The operation of the camera may
vary depending on the ambient
temperature, vehicle and road
conditions.
The distances shown in the display
may differ from the actual distance.
Do not place objects in front of the
camera.
The camera is on the liftgate near the
license plate.

The camera may not detect objects
that are very close to your vehicle.

Parking Aids
Switch the ignition and the audio unit on.
Move the transmission selector lever to
reverse (R).
The image displays in the center of the
instrument panel.
The system may not correctly operate in
any of the following conditions:
Dark areas.
Intense light.
If the ambient temperature increases
or decreases rapidly.
If the camera is wet, for example in rain
or high humidity.
If the camera's view is obstructed, for
example by mud.
Using the Display
Objects above the camera may not
be visible. Check the area behind
your vehicle when necessary.
Marks are for general guidance only,
and are calculated for vehicles in
maximum load conditions on an
even road surface.
The lines show the distance from the outer
edge of the front tire plus 50 millimetres
(2 inches) and the rear bumper.
