TO SELECT A PATTERN

The pattern chart inside of the top cover
indicates the all patterns and pattern
numbers of this machine.
These patterns are separated to three
groups.
GRP-A: Utility patterns
GRP-B: Decorative patterns
GRP-C: Letter patterns
1. The selected pattern and pattern number
will appear on the Liquid Cristal Display
(L.C.D.).
2. The group is selected by pressing the
Group (GRP) button. The pressing this
button, the first pattern of each group will
appear in order.
3. By pressing the Pattern jump (JMP)
button, reverse numbered pattern (or
reverse letter pattern) of each group on
the pattern chart will be selected in order.

4. The GRP-C (Letter patterns) has two
styles (Block and Script). The style is
changed by pressing the Style change
button (A-
) alternately.
When Block style is selected, "A" will
appear on L.C.D..
When Script style is selected, "
appear on L.C.D..
The Style change button will function the
GRP-C only.
5. The pattern select buttons will change the
pattern one step up or down.
When "–" button is pressed, pattern will be
selected one step down.
When "+" button is pressed, pattern will
be selected one step up.
6. Patterns of GRP-B or patterns of GRP-C
can be combined by using stitch memory
function. See page 60 "STITCH MEMORY
SEWING".
