From the folder System Folder/ Extensions/Printer Descriptions, select
the PPD file installed for your printer, and then select Select.
Your Macintosh makes a "connection" between the selected PPD file and
your printer.

In the setup window,
select Configure.

Use the scroll buttons
to view the full list of
optional settings for
your printer.

When you are finished
customizing the PPD,
select OK, and then close the Chooser.

able from your application's print dialog.
The following illustrations and options are present on Macintosh
System 9 OS (Operating System) using Word. Variations may occur
on different versions of the Macintosh OS and on different programs.
Refer to your Macintosh documentation for a description of the
differences between OS versions.

While using the application that you want to print from, choose Print.
The print dialog appears.
Make sure your printer is selected from the Printer drop-down list,
and that Printer is selected in the Destination list at the top of the
dialog.
