TONE CALLING
To tone call an intercom station,

Lift handset.

Press U-CM ,

Dial extension number.
Display:

Press lTCM again. Called telephone will ring.

NOTE: Some systems may be programmed to tone signal as
the first option. Pressing /TCM a second time is not
necessary in this case.
To tone call a DSS number,
l
Lift handset.
l
Press softkey that has been pre-programmed for
desired station.
l
Press KM When intercom party answers, two-

way conversation can take place.
NOTE: The lights (LEDs) adjacent to
softkeys
indicate status
of DSS telephones:
DARK
indicates idle telephone.
STEADY-ON indicates telephone in use. FLASHING in-
dicates station is ringing.
