Safety distance above the
cooktop
A minimum safety distance must be
maintained between the appliance and
the rangehood above it. See the range‐
hood manufacturer's operating and in‐
stallation instructions for details. If the
manufacturer's instructions are not
available for the rangehood, a minimum
safety distance of at least 760 mm
must be maintained. For any flammable
objects (e.g. utensil rails, wall units
etc.), a minimum safety distance of at
least 760 mm must be maintained be‐
tween them and the appliance below.
When two or more appliances which
have different safety distances are
installed together below a range‐
hood, you should observe the great‐
est safety distance.
